Learn how to start your first conversation with AI in Swiftask. This guide walks you through sending your first message and using key features to interact with multiple AI models.

Overview

Chat is your gateway to AI in Swiftask. It's where you can have conversations with multiple AI models, ask questions, get advice, analyze documents, generate content, and invoke specialized agents—all from one unified interface.

Whether you need quick answers, creative content, or in-depth analysis, Chat gives you instant access to powerful AI capabilities without switching platforms.

Prerequisites

To use Chat, you need:

• A Swiftask account (sign up at swiftask.ai)

Chat is available to all Swiftask users.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Log in to Swiftask

When you log in to Swiftask, you're automatically taken to the Chat screen. You're ready to start your first conversation immediately.

If you navigate away from Chat, you can return anytime by clicking Chat in the left sidebar.

The Chat option is located in the left sidebar for easy access.

2. Choose your AI model (Optional)

By default, Swiftask selects an AI model for you. You can change it anytime:

1. Look at the AI selector above the input field (it shows "Swiftask" by default)

2. Click the dropdown arrow next to the AI name

3. Browse and select a different AI model based on your needs

You can switch models at any point during a conversation.

3. Type your first message

1. Click inside the input field (it says "Ask a question or request advice on AI for a specific task...")

2. Type your question or request

3. Press Enter or click the send button (up arrow icon on the right)

Example prompts to try:

• "Summarize the key trends in AI for 2026"

• "Write a professional email to reschedule a meeting"

• "Explain quantum computing in simple terms"

The AI will respond within seconds.

4. Continue the conversation

Chat remembers your conversation context. You can:

• Ask follow-up questions

• Request edits or clarifications

• Build on previous responses

Simply type your next message and send it. The AI will use the full conversation history to give you relevant answers.

Practical use cases

Here are a few ways to use Chat right away:

• Get quick answers: "What's the difference between machine learning and deep learning?"

• Draft content: "Write a LinkedIn post about productivity tips"

• Analyze documents: Attach a PDF and ask, "What are the main takeaways from this report?"

• Brainstorm ideas: "Give me 10 creative names for a coffee shop"
