Welcome to this guide! Today, we're not just using AI—we're creating one. Picture a social media expert, available 24/7, capable of generating viral ideas and planning your content. That's exactly what we're going to build together.
His name? Liam.
His mission? Making your social media impactful and unforgettable.

Step 1: Liam's Birth (Basic Setup)
In this first step, we'll lay the foundation for our agent.
Access the creation workshop:
On your Swiftask interface, look for the agent creation section.
Click the "Create Agent" button. This is where the magic begins!
Give him an identity:
In the name field, type: Liam.
Swiftask offers pre-designed templates. Since we want to customize everything, choose the "Blank template."
Customize his profile:
You're now in the configuration interface.
👤 Avatar: At the top, choose an image that represents Liam. It's the personal touch that makes him recognizable!
👔 Role: Describe his mission. For example: Social media agent specializing in viral content creation.
🎯 What he can do: List his superpowers. Simply copy-paste:
Create engaging and viral content
Develop content strategy
Propose editorial calendar
🏢 Department: Indicate where he'll be most useful (e.g., Marketing, Communications).
🧠 LLM Model: Choose your agent's "brain" from the AI models offered by Swiftask.
✅ Checkpoint: At this stage, Liam's profile is created. He has a name, a face, and a clear mission. Excellent work!
Step 2: Giving Liam a Soul (Instructions & Skills)
Now we'll teach him how to think and act. This is the most important step!
Write his instructions (his "brain"):
In the left column, find the "Instructions" section. This is where you'll put the main "prompt" that will guide all his future actions.
💡 Pro Tip: Let's use AI to coach our AI! To create perfect instructions without wasting time, we'll ask for help from another Swiftask agent: Reda.
Open a new browser tab and return to Swiftask.
Start a new conversation with agent Reda.
Send him this message (copy-paste):
I want to design an AI agent specialized in social media, capable of generating viral, engaging content, as well as strategies and trending post ideas. It should propose 5 versions of publications for LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, and Threads.
Reda will generate a detailed and optimized prompt for you. Copy his entire response.
Return to Liam's configuration tab and paste this text in the "Instructions" field.
Give him skills (his "tools"):
Just below the instructions, you'll find the "Skills" section.
Click to add skills. For Liam, we need:
🌐 Internet search with perplexity: So he can research the latest trends.
Add external knowledge (his "library"):
If you have documents (style guides, reports, etc.), you can add them in the "Data" section. For this example, we'll give him general information about social media best practices.
Activate his long-term memory:
Check the "Long term memory" option.
🔍 Why? This will allow Liam to remember your previous conversations, preferences, and context. It's essential for effective collaboration!
Step 3: The Grand Finale (Testing and Launch)
Your agent is now fully configured. Time to see what he's made of!
The testing phase:
On the interface, you should see a chat window to test your agent.
Ask him something simple to start. For example: Suggest 3 Instagram post ideas on the theme of productivity.
Analyze his response. Is it relevant? Is the tone right?
Adjustment and refinement:
If the result isn't perfect, don't panic! That's completely normal.
⚠️ The secret is in the instructions! Go back to the "Instructions" section (where you pasted Reda's text) and modify it to be more precise. You can add constraints, specify a tone (e.g., "use a humorous and quirky tone"), or request a specific output format.
Going live:
Once you're satisfied with the test results, it's time to unleash Liam!
Click the "Use this agent" button.
