Overview
Agent feedback allows users to submit qualitative ratings and comments on responses generated by AI agents. It connects end-user interactions with observability tools, helping creators track accuracy and satisfaction.
Use this feature to collect user sentiment, identify incomplete or incorrect responses, and receive real-time email alerts for issues reported across your workspace.
Prerequisites
For submitting feedback: Active workspace member access with permission to chat with the agent.
For accessing feedback history: Agent owner or workspace administrator privileges.
Active agent: An existing AI agent that has interacted with users in chat.
Step-by-step guide
1. Submit feedback from a chat response
In the chat interface, navigate to any response delivered by an agent.
Hover over the message actions toolbar located above the response and click the thumbs-up icon (Give feedback).

In the Share Feedback modal, select how you would rate the response:
Good - This response was helpful
Incomplete - Missing some information
Wrong - This response was incorrect
In the Additional comments (optional) text field, enter any context describing what worked or what needs improvement.
Click Submit Feedback to record your rating.

2. Access the feedback history dashboard
In the left navigation bar of Swiftask, click Agents and select the agent you want to inspect.
In the agent configuration navigation panel, scroll down to the Observability section.
Click Feedback.

The Feedback history table displays all user ratings logged for the agent, organized by ID, Date, User, Feedback status, and Comment.

3. Search and filter feedback entries
Locate the Search for a conversation… input field above the table.
Enter a user name, feedback keyword, or conversation term to filter table rows in real time.
Use the pagination controls at the bottom right to adjust the visible rows or navigate between pages.
4. Export feedback records to CSV
Open the Feedback history dashboard.
Click the red Export to CSV button in the top toolbar.
The feedback log automatically downloads to your computer as a
.csvfile containing all visible feedback records.
5. Configure email alert notifications
In the top right corner of the Feedback history dashboard, click the bell icon.
In the Feedback notifications dropdown, toggle email alerts on or off for each feedback category:
Good - This response was helpful
Incomplete - Missing some information
Wrong - This response was incorrect
Once enabled, an email notification is automatically sent to workspace administrators whenever new feedback matching the selected types is received.

Practical use cases
Triage incorrect outputs: Configure email notifications for "Wrong" ratings to promptly investigate hallucinated or erroneous responses.
Identify knowledge documentation gaps: Review "Incomplete" feedback comments to determine whether the agent needs additional internal documents connected to its knowledge base.
Reporting for stakeholders: Export monthly feedback logs to CSV to report user satisfaction and accuracy metrics to management.
Tips & best practices
Enable email alerts only for "Incomplete" and "Wrong" ratings to avoid inbox clutter while staying alerted to urgent issues.
Encourage team members to include concise notes in the optional comment field when marking answers as incomplete.
Cross-reference negative feedback with Sessions & Inbox traces to see the exact execution path and model reasoning.
Troubleshooting
Cannot see the Feedback menu in agent configuration:
Cause: Your account has standard member permissions without agent editing or workspace admin rights.
Fix: Ask a workspace administrator to grant you administrative permissions or edit access to the agent.
Submit Feedback button remains grayed out:
Cause: You have not selected one of the three rating options (Good, Incomplete, or Wrong).
Fix: Select a rating radio button to activate the submission button.
No email alerts received for new ratings:
Cause: The toggle for that specific feedback category is disabled in the notifications popup.
Fix: Click the bell icon and verify that the toggle switch is activated for that rating category.
