Overview
The Swiftask desktop application lets you run Swiftask directly on your computer. It provides access to system-level features such as automated meeting capture and local AI assistance.
Install the desktop app when you need Swiftask to run alongside your daily workflow and capture meetings without manual setup.
Prerequisites
Before installing the desktop application, ensure you have:
An active Swiftask account.
A computer running Windows 10+, macOS 10.14+, or a modern Linux distribution.
Administrator access to install applications on your operating system.
An internet connection to download the installer files.
Step-by-step guide
1. Choose your download source
You can obtain the official installer from multiple channels:
Official Swiftask portal: Go to swiftask.ai/fr-fr/ai-app-multi-device and click download for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
Apple App Store: On macOS, open the Apple App Store and click Get.
WebCatalog: If you use WebCatalog, install via webcatalog.io/en/apps/swiftask.
In-app download: In the Swiftask web workspace, click Meetings in the left sidebar and click the red Download button.

2. Run the installation package
Open your computer's Downloads folder.
Double-click the downloaded setup package (
.msion Windows,.dmgor.pkgon macOS, or the Linux package).Follow the guided installation wizard to extract files to your local applications directory.

3. Grant system permissions
Launch Swiftask from your Applications list or desktop shortcut.
When prompted by your operating system, grant permission for Microphone access and background execution.
The app redirects you to the authentication screen once setup is complete.

Fix: Right-click the installer and select Run as administrator on Windows, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security on macOS and select Open Anyway.
